Breaking: Nansy Reunite, Share Sun-Drenched Single “Portrait Of A Summer’s Day”

Oslo’s indie darlings Nansy reunite after two decades, sharing the sun-drenched single “Portrait Of A Summer’s Day.” Their jangly, Cardigans-esque sound—honed in the early 2000s—resurfaces as they prepare for their long-awaited debut album, *Need You Around*. The EP-era band, dormant since their sole release, now delivers nostalgic yet fresh alt-pop, reigniting indie pop’s warm, melodic era for modern listeners.

The band split up after just one EP release and spent the intervening years pursuing other projects, however, they recently reunited to finally record their first full-length debut, Need You Around.
