Breaking: Nansy Reunites After 20 Years, Shares First Single “Portrait Of A Summer’s Day”

Oslo’s Nansy reunites after 20 years, releasing first single “Portrait Of A Summer’s Day” ahead of their debut album *Need You Around*. The jangly, sun-drenched indie pop act—often compared to The Sundays and The Cardigans—briefly emerged in the early 2000s with one EP before disbanding. Members pursued solo paths, but the reunion marks a long-awaited return, reviving their lush, melodic sound for a new generation.

Oslo-based indie act Nansy first got their start in the early 2000s, evoking the same jangly and sunny side of indie pop as acts like The Sundays or The Cardigans. The band split up after just one EP release and spent the intervening years pursuing other projects, however, they recently reunited to finally record their first full-length debut, Need You Around.
